Arriving at Fontebussi, in the beautiful Tuscan countryside, during the sunrise is a unique emotion. The mist of the morning is not raised, the silence of the fields, the geometrical run of the vineyards in the rolling hills of Arezzo, prepares my soul and mind, you work better, shooting better.

The preparation of the bride begins. The Resort Fontebussi starts to come alive. The bride and groom are Jewish, they came with a group of about 70 guests, from Tel Aviv to get married in the synagogue of Siena. The ceremony is scheduled for late morning officiated by Rabbi of Florence, Levi.

There seems to be a long time, but as always happens in every marriage – especially in Italy -, it always comes long and, among kisses and hugs of friends, the planning of the guest cars, the unexpected last now, the flowers and the slightly later bouquet increase the tension. Do not panic, it goes. Photographer, videographer and assistants follow the car of the bride to the Synagogue of Siena. Despite being late, the situation relaxes because the rabbi is even more on late. Marriage, as expected, starts about an hour and a half after. No problem as the marriage lasts throughout the day.

The ceremony in the Siena Jewish Synagogue is in the typical jewish tradition, the common aspects of a Jewish wedding include the ketubah (marriage contract) that is signed by two witnesses, chuppah or huppah (canopy), a groom’s property ring that is given the bride while the couple is under the canopy, and the traditional “glass breakage”. Then some refreshments and the distribution of the bread.

After the Jewish ceremony, some formal photos in Piazza del Campo in Siena and then return to the di Fontebussi. The spouses have chosen a very natural and spontaneous photo shooting style so to capture the wedding day emotions, moments and interactions with guests. Color, black and white, infrared photography in a very informal walking in Fontebussi.

The wedding reception is in Fontebussi garden. The typical Tuscan menu is accompanied by a good Chianti wine. The floral arrangement is very rustic and blends in perfectly with the environment. I continue to photograph informally among the guests during dinner. I continue until the cutting of the cake. The dancings, as in every Jewish wedding, are very funny, full of happiness and joy. Some shots at the blue hour, a little ‘more’ built ‘, concludes this photo shoot.

For the photographic service style, since the rural environment of Fontebussi and for how the bride and groom are, I wanted to give the photo a slightly vintage post production just to underline this very country chic atmosphere.
